Effective Date: October 18, 2024
Welcome to VisasCanada. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. RCIC Responsibilities and Client Expectations
VisasCanada, through licensed RCICs and partner firms, provides immigration consultation and application services. Clients must provide accurate and timely information and comply with requests for documentation. Inaccuracies may void this agreement or negatively impact the application.
2. Services Provided
VisasCanada offers a range of immigration services, including study permits, visitor visas, sponsorships, and more. For some services, clients may complete immediate payment through an online checkout. Currently, Study Permit Extension services are available through immediate checkout, and the retainer agreement is waived. For all other services, clients are still required to sign a retainer agreement before proceeding.
Fees for services do not include additional costs such as government fees, medical exams, postage, or other third-party expenses unless otherwise stated.
3. Payment Terms
Clients may choose whether VisasCanada or the RCIC will handle payment of CIC application fees, biometric fees, or other third-party fees on their behalf. If the client opts to pay these fees themselves, it is their responsibility to ensure timely payment. VisasCanada will not be responsible for delays or issues that occur if third-party fees are not paid on time.
Professional fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered. Additionally, a non-refundable $50 administrative fee applies in cases where the client cancels before the application is submitted. This fee accounts for the work already completed by VisasCanada.
For services requiring a retainer agreement, fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered. Clients must make payments upon signing the agreement. For services utilizing immediate checkout (e.g., Study Permit Extensions), fees are payable at the time of checkout.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are limited to unbilled work if the client cancels before the completion of services. Any third-party fees paid to IRCC (e.g., CIC application fees, biometric fees) can be refunded, provided the application has not yet been submitted. The $50 administrative fee is non-refundable.
For more details, refer to the Refund Policy.
5. Confidentiality
VisasCanada partners with various RCICs and immigration firms. Any information provided by clients may be shared with these partners to fulfill the services. However, all partners are obligated to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict data protection practices.
Personal information is used solely for immigration services and will not be shared with unauthorized third parties unless required by law.
6. Termination
This agreement may be terminated upon completion of services or if the client fails to provide the necessary documentation, accurate information, or fails to uphold their responsibilities.
7. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between clients and VisasCanada, or any of its partner firms, will first be handled internally. If unresolved, clients may escalate disputes to the ICCRC.
8. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction within British Columbia.
9. Force Majeure
VisasCanada is not liable for delays or non-performance resulting from conditions beyond its control, such as government restrictions, war, or natural disasters.
10. Risk of Rejection
VisasCanada cannot guarantee application approval. Applications may be rejected due to insufficient documentation, financial proof, past rejections, or other factors outside the control of VisasCanada.
11. Amendments
VisasCanada reserves the right to amend this Terms of Service as needed. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Terms of Service.
